Tuesday

Careful with negotiating on commoditiy products,!!!!!! the vendors on the high street will not move that much on price. ""I give you already good pricelaaaa, you buy!""

Session 6:

Lead user innovation value: customers can know the product better than producers. Driven on sites like wikipedia and second life etc...Creative customers sometimes don't use products for their intended purpose, willing also to pay for more.

Capturing the value of co-developement with innovative users can provide a significant competitive adavantage.

The open source model seems a lot more free and open. Users are free to aid and actively develop and improve the code. Microsoft are in the complete opposite game, none of the sofware is supposed to be changed or developed and modified. It looks like software and hardware are coming down in price and becoming commodities. This is all good for the consumer.
OSS developement principles, technology, working group, process and governance. Leads to customer friendly, fast developement, high quality with low error rates and it is free.

When users become developers, then you better work with them or you will be left behind.....
